Genel Transport Forwarding & Trade Co. Ltd. (Turkey) project teamonce again completes a challenging task of moving 1387 tons (12,263 cbm) complete mining unit picked up from three different suppliers and stored for shipment according to the cargo plan.
Inland trucking operations took 10 days in which90 low beds, modular trailers, low-loaders, and several flatbed trailers were used. The unfinished painting of the cargo was then completed at the storage area upon request of our customer, and Genel Transport made it happen.
Once the vessel arrived at the port, the cargo was transported from a storage area and loading operations were completed in 7 days using a 200-ton shore crane.
Multi-purpose heavy lift vessel M/V BBC Canada was chartered to ship this cargo from Gemlik to Fremantle.
The most challenging of all was to ensure our teams health and safety during this COVID19 pandemic period. With all measures taken, our team was safe and proudly completed one more complicated project with excellent results.
