GENEL TRANSPORT Forwarding and Trade Project Team has successfully completed the delivery of Chromatography & Mixed Bed Equipment consisting of Front Pipings, Mixed Beds and Flash Tanks from Shanghai, China to Razgrad, Bulgaria via Derince Safi Port of Turkey.
Total gross weight of the shipment was 109.560 kgs // 488,641 cbm. There were 3 over gauge cargo.
1 x 11,80 x 4,85 x 4,65 lxwxh – 75 tons
2 x 6,15 x 3,90 x 3,75m lxwxh – 13,50 tons each
Cosco Da Type Heavy lift vessel was used to perform sea transport from Shanghai to Derince Safi Port.
Due to height of the cargo and restrictions en-route to Razgrad-Bulgaria, a special Goldhofer low bed platform with 11 axles was used for 75 tons cargo. The system dedicated for this single piece was 35,70 meters. An 8 axle lowbed used for the other 2 OOG units.
Project leader Ozan Tari said: “Thanks to our overseas partners and excellent infrastructure provided by Safi Port of Derince as well as our road hauliers, we have delivered these special units within the projected time and quality. Despite challenging road curves on the way to Razgrad and at the job site, our engineers and drivers successfully maneuvered the vehicles. The distance from the port to final destination was over 600 km and it took 8 days to arrive to job site.”
