Genel Transport Forwarding and Trade Project Team has successfully completed the delivery of two sets of Roof Crane from Ankara, Turkey to Douala, Cameroon via Derince Safi Port of Turkey.
Total gross weight of the shipment was 142 pcs 554,644 kgs / 5964 cbm. There were 46 over-gauge cargoes and 11 flatbed trailers.
Heavy weather conditions did not stop the professional project team, fully geared to overcome any challenges.
The team arranged inland trucking on-time and all OOG cargoes were made ready to load at port of Derince according to performing vessels laycan. Special Heavy lift vessel was used to perform sea transport from Derince to Douala Port. All disproportionate lengths, out of shape cargoes perfectly stow into the vessel by our port captain. All loading Operation took 50 hours, having the goods perfectly stowed and secured.
